Oxnard
is located along California's "Strawberry Coast" between Los Angeles and Santa Barbara. Oxnard is the largest city in Ventura County, and has an exceptional quality of life with clean, fresh ocean air and surrounded by fertile farmland and mountain wilderness. Rich, fertile farmlands surround the southern California coast between Santa Barbara and Los Angeles. A sunny Mediterranean climate is greatly influenced by the Pacific Ocean, where summers are dry and warm and winters are wet and mild. This area has more than 315 days of sunshine per year with very low humidity levels. Low clouds and fog often move inland from the ocean in the evening and persist until the wee hours of the morning. By noon, the fog burns off and the sunshine returns. Cool ocean breezes keeps temperatures from getting too hot. The rainy season generally runs November through March and the area receives approximately 18 inches of rainfall per year.
